The design of the Summit Residence in the Berkeley Hills creates a modern treehouse with a building that lightly touches the ground beneath. Services spaces including MEP, storage and stairs are clustered towards the center/street-side of the house with living and sleeping spaces arranged along the perimeter to maximize the SF Bay views.

The interior of the living spaces are lined with timeless wood objects and white painted wood walls.

The interior of the service spaces like bathrooms are lined with a dark stone tile with the continuation of the wood elements to create an intimate spa-like experience for both the guests and residents.
